Several members of the Council of Coaches team from Dundee attended events at Warsaw Argumentation Week (WAW 2018, http://waw2018.argdiap.pl) from 6th-16th September.
First up, Dominic De Franco attended the Third Summer School on Argumentation (SSA 2018; http://ssa2018.argdiap.pl) where he gave a presentation on “Personalising Argumentation within Persuasive Technology” during the student session. Then, Mark Snaith, along with Sita Kotnis from DBT, gave a presentation at the Argumentation & Society workshop (ArgSoc 2018; http://comma2018.argdiap.pl/workshops/workshop-2/) on “Challenges in argumentation and dialogue for autonomous, multi-party health coaching”.

At the Seventh International Conference on Computational Models of Argument (COMMA 2018; http://comma2018.argdiap.pl) Mark also gave a demonstration of the use of dialogue and argumentation in the Council of Coaches, before presenting a related paper, “A dialogue game for multi-party goal-setting in health coaching”.
